Smoothie, breakfast with fruit and protein

If you are looking for a rich, fresh, quick breakfast (or snack) that fills you with energy, a smoothie is your option. It has few ingredients, healthy and natural and the best thing is that you can vary the bases and toppings and make your own creations. It is also ideal for summer days!

We love this version in which we freeze the fruit previously, because this tip allows us to achieve a creamy consistency without adding large amounts of fruit, which is good for not consuming a lot of sugar (you know that although natural, fruits are have in its composition and sometimes you have to be careful with the amount we eat). In the version that we propose, we also add the use of coconut yogurt but you can replace it with a jet of the vegetable milk you prefer or simply skip it.

Let's go with the recipe!

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

1 medium-sized banana, chopped and frozen

1 cup frozen strawberries

2 generous tablespoons coconut yogurt

1 scoop Vegaly vanilla

· Handful of frozen fruits to decorate: we use blueberries and raspberries, but it can be replaced by the ones you have or just a handful of nuts or seeds. Coconut flakes look great too!

How to prepare it?

1. Place the banana, strawberries, yogurt and the scoop of Vegaly vanilla in the blender glass. Liquefy

2. Once blended, check its texture, it should be a creamy texture that you can eat with a spoon, but if you prefer it to be looser you can add a little more liquid.

3. Place the preparation in a glass or bowl, decorate.

 TIP:
Beware of toppings because it is where, many times without realizing it, we turn healthy into something unbalanced. Prefer to decorate some red fruits and try to avoid granola or cereals that contain processed sweeteners.
